Will You Skate For Valentines?
As much as we might love our partners, we’re still gonna find our way to the rink this month.
Cause we know that slow jam section will hit better this season 🤌🏾✨💖
So what’s the plan? where we skating?
Well, I’ll tell you:
Rule number one of Your Jam Plug community,
I will always encourage you to check out and support your local rinks/skate spaces!
They need YOU to keep it open. Last thing we want this 2024 is for spaces to close down cause people stopped supporting…
So I’ll say it again, check the community links page to find your local rink and tell them we said ‘hi’!
**If you find your local space/rink is lacking, there’s ways to help them improve! give feedback or something constructive
Rule Number Two,
Pick the right vibe~
There’s a skate night for everyone, and I’d love to match you to the right one!
Take for example, It’s valentines day…
if you go to a clearly labelled Valentines day skate, and then complain about slowjams or couples being everywhere, I’ll be forced to question your thought process.
Whether you love them, or hate them, the theme nights are here to stay #CAPITALISM
These are the places to be for a romantic evening of skating with your second set of 8s 💕
The valentines skate dates:
14th Feb
Flipper’s Boogie Palace
Roller Nation
Watch MY Wheels @ Rollerscapes
Love is in the air, and understandbly it might put some people off,
but don’t fret, we have plenty other normal skate nights for you to enjoy!
Don’t throw February out the window just yet!
Isle of Skating and Roll Happy, Two of London’s favourite Learn to Roller Skate groups are holding Social Skate sessions This month 🥳

There’s plenty more skate spaces outside London, Bump Roller Disco just celebrated their opening of a permanant place! And Roller Girl Gang will be hosting the Rhythm and Routines workshop soon!
Hopefully if work allows, i’ll spend some time outside London and write up about your (soon-to-be) favourite spaces.
